Outjo Gold Project
The Outjo Gold Project, located approximately 80 km east of the Khorixas Project, covers over 45,000 hectares within the Damara Orogenic Belt.
The geology of the Outjo basin is consistent with other major basins in Namibia known to host significant gold deposits. The Outjo syncline spans 85 km by 12 km and, like the Karibib syncline (70 km by 10 km), strikes NE/SW as a result of late D3 deformation. Both synclines are core-filled by Kuiseb formation turbidites and rimmed by the Karibib formation, representing thick packages of turbidites and calcareous sediments that were buried and deformed during the Proterozoic Damara Orogeny (D3). These structural features make the region highly prospective for gold exploration, as similar geological formations have proven to host major deposits elsewhere in Namibia.
Despite significant calcrete cover obscuring historical exploration, the potential for gold mineralization remains high, particularly along faults and thrusts forming basin margins where metal-bearing brines may propagate upwards during geological events and within reach for mining.

Exploration Progress
A regional sampling campaign was completed in December 2022 by the previous company, during which approximately 2,300 soil and termite mound samples were collected and analyzed via an onsite PXRF lab. This campaign identified seven distinct arsenic and copper anomalies, signalling strong potential for further exploration.
With its favourable geological setting, the Outjo Gold Project offers a unique opportunity for Great Quest to make significant discoveries. Ongoing exploration efforts, including detailed geochemical and geophysical studies, will continue to explore the potential of this greenfield project.
